I have a set of six carved elephants that vary in size (2-4" high). There are two adult elephants and four smaller elephants. All carved from ivory.

As far as I know, they have been in my father's family for a very long time, but I never asked specifically and he has passed away.

Can you give me some direction to a site that I can go to for an appraisal?

As mentioned in other posts – most jewelry gemologists and appraisers work within a general field because gold can be weighed and measured and gemstones are calibrated and can be priced throughout the trade.

These items come more in the specialty line of Objects d'Art so you would need to find people who handle these types of goods.

Do a search on your favorite search engine like Google – there are hundreds listed there.
