As a Guest, you can still start a new Topic and Ask The Experts a Question, but it will be Moderated, so may not appear straight away. There is no need to ask again, as your question may simply be in the moderation queue, awaiting clearance.
However; I personally think if you want to get a full and complete benefit from this exclusive website, you really should become a Member. The Registration is almost painless.
I have been receiving so many emails and messages regarding Maker’s Marks and just what they mean that I had to write this post to explain it.
I have also included a short Video presentation - not from me, or anyone associated with our company - but from a small manufacturer in Texas. Hopefully it will explain in graphic detail, just how hard the Maker’s Mark problem really is, and just why it’s so easy for anyone in the world, to stamp their jewelry with anything they want.
But first - here is a recent question typical of the problem…

G'day all and I hope you are reading this, because it means the upgrade has gone successfully and the Jewelry Forum is back up and running okay again.
There was a short while when we seemed to have been attacked by some 'NICE' people who corrupted some of our files. We managed to move the forum to another website of mine as a temporary measure until we found the problem - unfortunately we couldn't find the culprit, but we seen to have sorted out the scripting. Hooray!
If you have any comments, please feel free to add them here as we are…
"I was very pleased to find that not only did the appraisal form contain just about every possible option, I could go back and edit it before printing." Sonia Bailey NSW, Australia
