Jewelry Boxes

One of the things I find really wierd about some of the jewellery I purchase, is that it comes in plastic bags.

I want to be able to present my clients with really superby presented pieces – not just in something that you would buy in K-Mart.

To that end, can you advise outlets on the internet, where I can buy good (not super expensive) boxes for earrings, necklaces, rings etc.

I cannot seem to find anything under about $100.00 per piece (exquisite though they are) – not quite what I had in mind for a $50.00 pair of earrings!!

Thanks and regards
Georgie

G'day Georgie and many thanks for your query

Firstly let me just thank you for contacting us. All interaction between Members is especially welcome.

The New Members site is due to open it's doors on October 1st

But in answer to your question – I don't know where you live?

You see, we are actually located in Australia, and while we owned our own retail stores here (and in the UK) we could easily contact our local manufacturing suppliers for jewelry boxes.

Even the Trade suppliers in the city would have plastic earring boxes for less than a dollar (depending on bulk) and we could have our own 'Branding' printed inside the lid of 'Plush' hinged boxes for around the $3 mark. So I can certainly see your problem.

Once the new Members site is open there will be an open forum with experts in moderation to help.

Some of the Members may even be in your location and will be able to advise you better than me.

At the same time (big things happening) we are transferring our Resource section, which is currently on our Antique Jewellery of the 20th Century website.

You will find it here for the next few weeks before it is moved to the new Resource Website (same information – just better interface).
Jewelry Supplies

Worth trying anyway.

Hope all this helps…
