which will explain in general terms what is needed to identify a hallmark.
Your stamp MAY be gold? or not – and I can't tell because I can't see it, feel it, measure or test it.
You will need to take it to your local jeweler appraiser and have them actually take a look at it.
If you pay for a written report – at least then you'll know instead of just guessing.
