I have been searching for info about the maker of my vintage diamond ring. I found one listing on ebay which claimed "DB" was an old Hawaiian Jewelery maker. Can any one verify this or give me information about this ring? Thank you! I can be emailed at billterrell62 (at) inbox (dot) com
The mark consists of a large sort of cursive captial "D" with a noticeably smaller capital "B" to the side of the "D". I believe the metal is silver or white gold.
Thank you!

On closer inspection there seems to be a lot of fine detail worked into it. What strikes me as odd is the fact that there is quite a lot of detailed worked into the back of it.

You didn't mention where you were living - so I'm assuming it is in the UK.

The GJ are simply the Makers mark.

As the thread title states, this may come as an odd question. I'm looking into getting a set of polyhedral dice made out of blue goldstone, but noone I can find online makes them. The closest I could get was the Dwarven Stones line by Crystal Caste, who make dice sets out of obsidian, quartz, adventurine, jade, lapis lazuli etc.

I'm thinking now that I will have to get the set custom made. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? How much would I be looking at to have them cut and finished?

I am seeking information on an engagement ring from about the 1920's in the United States of America The ring is a silver color(white gold?) with a setting of an aproximately 1.25 carrat diamond with with a small diamond on both sides of the large center stone. The ring band is stamped with the letters "THPALL" or pehaps "TH PALL" on the inside. There are no other markings I can see under magnification.

Any information regarding this ring and more particularly the meaning of the mark would be appreciated. Thank you.

If he provides it - check it

If he doesn't - Have it independantly checked

Hope that helps. There is a lot of useful valuation information on the Jewelry Appraisal Center website.
