Dear Anne,
I recently purchased a Bulova child's (or a very small lady) watch at a small thrift shop in Charleston, SC. It appears to be old. Looks like 8 diamonds and 4 rubies on the face of the watch. Leather strap. Raised faced cover. Wind up watch stem. Watch works. Seems to keep accurate time. Face trim has etching on the edge and the hinges extend into the watchband. I can't tell if the watch trim is gold or brass. Engraved 'Bulova' on the watch stem and the back. I haven't taken the back off to look at it. I didn't want to disturb the watch mechanism in any way. There is a number (876835) also etched in the back of the watch and there is some sort of inscription under the word 'Bulova'. Could you tell me if you have ever encountered a time piece like this or if you could give me some information related to it? Thank you so much for your time and help, Deb M
